There can be a very obvious gulf in quality between recording audio at home and doing so with the benefit of professional equipment and expertise.
At our Vyner Street studio, we have our own fully equipped recording studio and editing suite, a massive live room and attractive canal-side setting.
Our Head of Production, Matty Benbrook, is an Ivor Novello winning songwriter and producer known for his work with Paolo Nutini, Faithless and Lewis Capaldi among many other famous names.
With a state of the art digital editing suite, we can produce podcasts and audiobooks which sound great and let your listeners engage with you without having to contend with annoying hisses, uneven sound levels, or unwanted background noise.
With a range of audio effects and a roster of vocal artists and session musicians available, we can add dynamism and atmosphere to your production, and produce great sounding, immersive and distinctive audio products.

MATTY BENBROOK

ANDREA LAPORI
Mixer, Sound Engineer, Producer
After success with 90's Britpop band Skinny, Matty went on to perform as a drummer and percussionist for Faithless.
As a song writer and producer Matty has many credits and won an Ivor Novello award in 2010 for his work with Paolo Nutini, co-writing the hits "New Shoes" and "Last Request" among other tracks.
Other collaborations with Dido, Beverley Knight, George the Poet, Lewis Capaldi and others have seen Matty contribute to over 35 million in worldwide record sales.
A co-founder of Vyner Street Productions, Matty currently divides his time between working with artists producing new music and over-seeing all matters acoustic for Vyner Street.
Andrea has mixed, engineered and produced tracks for some of the biggest names in music, including The Rolling Stones, U2, Jack Savoretti, Stealth and George the Poet.
With a great ear for detail and unsurpassed technical expertise, Andrea is one of the most sought after studio engineers currently working in London and is permanently based at our Vyner Street facilities.
A graduate of SAE in Milan, Andrea has been a member of the Audio Engineering Society for over 20 years.

GEORGE SHANKS
Sound Engineer
Belying his tender years, George is master of the faders and filters. He also proudly serves as our house guitarist, microphone wallah, gaffer taper in chief and head of tea and biscuit supplies.
When not diligently scrubbing, scraping and mixing audio tracks for Vyner Street George can normally be found "shreddin' on me axe", doing stuff for his NVQ in Sound Engineering or over-using the word "Swedish", which apparently means "good" in his primitive Cockney dialect.
